The 4th Annual Public Interest Overnight Retreat took place last weekend at the Tall Pines Camp in Williamstown, NJ. Over 50 students attended with all classes, including LLMs, represented.
Each year, the retreat provides students with a chance to step away from campus for just a short time, get to know classmates who share their passion for justice, and reconnect with what brought them to law school in the first place.
The focus of this year’s retreat was understanding how risk impacts our decisions and the dreams we do and do not pursue. Students had the opportunity to evaluate their fears and dreams individually and collectively.
In addition to substantive programming and discussions, students also took part in low and high ropes courses. Other weekend highlights included a bonfire and dance party on Saturday night.
